Genealogical Notes:-

(1) Philip BUNN (1599-1662) Husbandman of Fordington was the 3rd child of Robert BUNN Senior (1558-1639) by his wife Edeth (1575-1654). This link goes to his mothers Will and genealogical notes about his parents and siblings. He was born circa 1599; see The Survey of Fordington Manor taken in 1615 when aged 16. Philip married Johanes [Joan] BRAG at Steeple on 18th June 1629. He was a beneficiary under his father's will in 1639 - left 40s & my best horse - and by which time he had 2 children who are left 6s. 4d each. He is living with his widowed mother and elder brother Robert on the family plot in the 1650 Survey of Fordington Manor when their ages were clearly estimated and some way out, Rbt as 50 (actually 57) and Philip 40 (when 51). He is left £4 in his mother's will in 1654.

(1). Mary the daughter of Philip BUNE was baptised in Fordington on 9th May 1630
(2). A brother Richard the son of Philip BUN was baptised in Fordington on 15th April 1638 but died an infant and was buried there 10th November the same year.
(3). Records are missing for Fordington for the period 1640-1663 inc and his daughters are likely to have married in the mid 1650's (as 25 years old was the average age of marriage at this date for women of their status).
(4). Joane his wife does not appear to have died until 1667, although as explained records prior to 1664 have not survived. The entry in St Georges burial register states " Joane BUNNE widow was buryed November the 24 1667".
(5). Mary Froome took out a Letter of Administration over her fathers estate in 1662 - transcription via this link. The death of a Mary the wife of a Thomas FROME was buried in Fordington on 27 April 1667 which seems likely to be her.
(6). An Ann MOOR was also buried at Fordington on 9th Oct 1694.
(7). A Philip BUNN was a beneficiary under the Will of the widow Edith BUNN of Fordington in 1654 who made a Robert BUNN her overseer.
